Stayed here october 2021 extending a trip from another cottage in Brecon, no comparison. I found the lodge to be cramped, and not particularly comfortable. No hot water supply to the"en suite" basin and a very awkward walk past the bed to use the loo etc. That comes from someone who has been living on a 7 feet wide narrowboat for the last 11 years! Being in Wales an area to hang wet coats and putting muddy boots would have been useful. Would I recommend the lodge.. Probably not, although Kerry and Carys were very welcoming.
