Called in for a mid morning breakfast. Friendly and helpful with a good pot of tea.

Last minute invitation to interview (by phone), no expenses offered yet I lost half a day's pay to attend, no personal call to thank me for my time and inform me I was unsuccessful and then no response to two emails asking whether they would pay my travelling expenses. When I started working in the late 1980s you were automatically offered travelling expenses. These days, like a lot of others, I work a zero hours contract so any time off means no pay. Therefore, a few pounds to cover expenses is even more important now than it was 30 years ago when zero hours contracts were not mainstream. This company tries to encourage youngsters into work but does not set a good example themselves.

Was sent here on Restart. Total waste of time. Spent longer on the train than I spent in the meetings, which consisted of me watching the most patronising video on the planet. Seriously, the only way it could have been more patronising is if they gave out crayons and then told you not to eat them. As well as scoring myself out of ten on a scale that was so poorly operationalised that we were reading entirely different books on what the numbers meant. Staff are so incompetent they can't even book a meeting using a digital calendar correctly, and then give no prior warning when they don't keep the meeting. Maybe they do need the talk about those darn crayons. Send you unprofessional texts from staff that have no idea what a punctuation mark is, fail to identify themselves, and pester every ten minutes while you're in an interview for information they already have. As well as outright lie. Place is pretty hostile too, seen the receptionist grill a girl about her vaccine status and testing regime because she was coughing. If the receptionist had a hose, they'd have definitely been trying to cleanse the unclean one. Though the receptionist would most probably have preferred a flamethrower. Avoid if you can. Don't expect much other than hassle and time wasting if you can't.
