St Pauls View Apartment 1 by StayBC

The St Pauls View Ap1 by StayBC has all the makings of a 4 star stay for the business traveller, however is marred by poor standards of clean, smoke smell and unfortunately some very noisy neighbours. It is also extremely frustrating to rent an apartment in 2021 thats for rental but doesnt include a dishwasher. There is a strong smell of damp in the living room, and this is where some basic building work to insulate the space would go a long way to prevent the evidence of mould. Having stayed in many locations across the Newport area, I would not recommend this to anyone looking for comfort and convenience, as there are a lot of issues with this apartment.

The only good think I can say about this property is that it is pretty central to Newport, the beds were clean and comfortable and it has off road parking. Unfortunately for us, the property was dusty, dirty, mouldy and run down. There was a big patch of mould next to the bed. Curtains were hanging off rails, dust was thick on the floor, off cuts of electrical cables were on the floor, balls of hair on the sofas, which were thread bare, as were the rugs. Wallpaper hanging off walls and large cobwebs on the windows. When the people downstairs smoked our apartment filled with the smell of cigarettes. Overall not great and needs sorting.
