Rhys Webber has taken photographs at least three times a year at Community House Eton Road for more than twelve years. The people of Newport, in particular Maindee, are very diverse and Community House has a mission to make friendships between people of all faiths and cultures. Consequently our events attract many people, often in colourful ethnic dress, having a good time, enjoying company across cultures. Rhys's photographs show this diversity in a very sympathetic way. Almost all are thrilled to have their photographs taken, either as groups concentrating on the event, or as portraits. Rhys is always careful to meet the wishes of those who do not wish to be photographed. He has built up the trust of our stakeholders so that they are always glad to see him. He has taken care to build relationships with the people being photographed and is always being asked to take photographs of 'me', especially with the children of the families. He is a real asset to our Community House family.
