Would never ever use or recommend this guy, pics taken of shoddy workmanship and narrative can be given if prompted. This work was carried out in 2019 and have only just found this option to vent my anger and frustration even now having seen the bad review on this website, I can totally relate to the lady's distress 4 years on from my disastrous installation. Service: Plumbing fixture installation

Lovely group of guys. Approached them as they were already working on my street. Craig priced things up and his guys took care of every part of the install. Highly recommended

Whilst I will say that Kai and Paul who worked on my mums bathroom renovation were decent and hard-working guys, I am disgusted by the lack of ethics shown by the companys owner, Craig. When we first met we were charmed by him. We discussed the full renovation work and how the bathroom was to look and were quoted 4,000 for the job. It came to light too late, however, that Craig was not planning to conduct the following work: skimming the parts of the walls that the new tiles would be laid on, painting the window frame and door, painting the walls and ceiling, the flooring. The omission of these works was not mentioned by Craig. He knew that we were expecting them to be done. No official quote or breakdown of cost was provided, rather a confirmation of price by text, including the basics such as measurements for the shower tray, colour of the tiles, etc. Stupidly I did not scrutinise this text message at the time. I trusted him to include the work that we had agreed to verbally. I challenged the lack of paintwork so he agreed to paint the walls and ceiling but we had to provide the materials. When the shower enclosure was installed, it butted up to the edge of the sink, when Mum had specifically said that she wanted a shorter tray to allow more space in her small bathroom. The one that was installed was far longer than he had confirmed in the initial text so, again, he eventually agreed to replace it with a shorter one. However, what I didnt find out until later was that he fleeced my mum for half go the price for the replacement, even though it was him who had ordered the too long version by mistake. Mum agreed to pay the half to keep the peace, she did not want to live with the atmosphere. He did not listen to Mums specification for the sink or tap either, rather ordered what he wanted and, in the words of one of his staff, does that because he gets a job discount when he buys from a particular store. His discount, not ours. He did replace the sink, but, again, I only found out today, Mum had to go and buy her own tap from B&Q in order to have the style that she wanted. Remember, this was supposed to be included in the 4,000 and was agreed verbally and by text when a link was sent to him in advance. Mum initially said that she did not want spotlights, but changed her mind after the quote. Paying extra for the materials would be expected, but Craig told her that he would have to employ a separate electrician so he would be adding 225 to the price. He was lying, of course. No electrician came, he fitted the lights himself, but he would not back down on the extra 225. When we first met, Mum talked about wanting her floorboards sanded and stained but wasnt sure what the condition of the boards was, so was considering lino instead. We were assured that Craig would check the quality of the boards and replace any were not up to scratch. We talked about opting for the lino if the boards option would not work. Craig left yesterday leaving rough, old and broken floorboards. Bare wood. Not treated, not sealed, not liveable. Mum raised her concerns but was fobbed off yet again and told that they were fine. Today, my mother is on a step ladder, repainting the walls (Craig shooed her concerns that the paintwork was not up to scratch away) and has arranged for her flooring to be done by another contractor. In all, she will have spent around 20% more on this installation than she was quoted, and in addition to that, she has been made to feel stupid, guilty and a nuisance for raising her concerns that the job was not being completed as agreed. What was penned in as an exciting time and one that he had saved hard for has turned into a nightmare. She is upset and feels vulnerable and conned, but the over-riding feeling now is that she is glad that Craig has gone.
