We spoke to the receptionist and gave her details such as: possible dates, times and approximate numbers of attendees.
When she had spoken to her manager, she emailed me to say that the cost of hiring the Training Room could be waived but a donation to cover the cost of providing tea and coffee would be appreciated.
I cannot praise the staff enough for the service they gave us. Well Done GAVO.
Further to the above-mentioned event, on Monday 15th July 2019 my Carer (Ceri) and I drove to Ty-Derwen The Headquarters of GAVO Newport, where we met Adrianne Jones. It was she who obtained permission from her Chief Executive for us to make a video of the outside of the building, which was the Fairoak Secondary School For Girls for which we are very grateful.
