Box Guesthouse

This guesthouse is the absolute worst of them all. Carpet smells and toilet doesn't flush; wall paint is cracked and ceiling is water-stained and part of it is cracked. No staff on site, an absolute joke. Stay away if you can.

Best thing about staying here was its location. It was in an area I was able to get about on foot. It is run remotely. We had to make a few phone calls to enter the building, the get the building pin number and to get our room pin. Check out was 11 am by 11:03 the pin on our room had expired, just as well we didn't leave anything in the room as it would've been the process of phone calls again.

I booked this place as my 4 year old had a medical appointment nearby, early and had to be sleep deprived. I left 20 minutes after I arrived. The place stunk of cigarette smoke. The chair was broke, it was filthy. We didn't sleep there. Cost 45 for a night. I sent then a video of the room and told them about the broken things, smoke and filth and have not heard back. 10/10 do not recommend. Wish I'd of read a review like this before I booked. I am not a fussy person, i have stayed in hostels all around the world but this was worse than a 4 hostel in Bangkok.
