John and Tim Extend my kitchen units and work tops, to include tiling areas of the kitchen. one could not be more pleased with the workmanship, the job was done to a very high standard. I WILL RECOMMENDED J D BUILDERS.

John is still currently doing the work, but we are really pleased with what he has done so far, so wanted to write a review now and upon completion. Fantastic work, really nice guys, and the rate is decent - cannot recommend highly enough. John was quick to give us a quote, gave a very confident and competent explanation of what he would be doing, gave us a reasonable price, and was able to start the work soon. John and Tim replaced the rotten support beams under our half-landing top-step, replacing the boards on the step, and adding further structural support. They then plastered underneath the repair in the kitchen, and nicely blending in the new coving. They replaced the tiles around the kitchen and painted (see photos). Finally they gutted the whole bathroom, retiled walls, fitted new lights, new bath, new toilet, new radiator, and new sink, strengthening weakened joists below the floor, and increasing the structural rigidity of the flimsy fibre glass bath i had bought. John explained the processes to me so that i could understand, and offered advice on bathroom fittings, and where best to i stall things. VERY rare that I leave a review, but JD BUILDERS warrant my time and gratitude. I contracted JD BUILDERS after reading the positive reviews and praise. I can honestly say, now having been a customer, the previous statements are 100% accurate. John and Tim completed 3 different Jobs for me. I was given a fair price and an agreed start date. The work involved fitting new uPVC windows and Doors, removing an old roof, building a new one, relaying with slate, plastering, building an external brick wall & rendering and weather proofing my property. Both John and Tim conducted themselves in a proffesional manner, worked tidy and diligently, completing all work to a very high standard. Both kept regular hrs, attended every day on time and would always always let me when they would be here. Communication was second to none, I was informed of progress and next steps on a regular basis. End result is first class workmanship and I am a very happy customer.
