Vets Now Newport

Bank Holiday Monday and my dear friend Ulab who had been in my house with me since being born there almost 15 years ago, had reached the end. Struggling with a heart defect, no appetite, couldn't take his medication and was very weak and disengaged. Vet found very low blood oxygen and little prospect of improved quality of life. NOW vets who providing emergency cover for Sommerhill could not have been more empathetic and caring. Ulab was put to sleep with myself, my son and his partner comforting and supporting him. The whole procedure was done with enormous respect and dignity for which I and my family will always be grateful. He is now buried in my garden and a beautiful Acer marks his grave. Thank you for your caring help.

Service was fantastic. My cat was taken into triage within minutes of arriving. He was treated and discharged very quickly. The nurses were very friendly and helped with the insurance paperwork. Bianca the vet was brilliant. She was kind and knew what she was talking about. She also had a fun personality and you can see she really cares about the animals. Our precious cat is now back to himself and on the mend. Thank you x

My dog who's scared of strangers, needed to go to the vets. They were great at listening to how best to handle him and did a fab job of making him comfortable. Watching the comings and going you can tell they care about your pets and putting the owners at ease
