Lliswerry Medical Centre

Never can get an appointment with them. I've been calling for 2 days now. Between 8 and 9 they don't answer or you get a busy tone,after 9 they are already fully booked. 2 weeks ago they sent my daughter home with no treatment after she had been coughing for 4 weeks and they only agreed to see her because I called every week insisting to see the GP. That night she had a high fever and we called an ambulance. She was seen in the hospital and started on antibiotics urgently.

Coming from a different surgery, I have recently moved to the area and changed to this centre . The receptionists are amazing , the doctors are great. Of all the times I needed, they picked up the phone super fast and accommodated my needs. I cant praise enough this medical centre. I wish I have been registered here before .

Impossible to get an appointment to see a GP, called for my son, between 8am and 9am. Call is constantly busy, i think they put the phone on the side for no taken calls. As happened couple of time, i been there and no one use the phone and call in front of them and the phone don't ring in reception. What is the point to have a GP as nevwt can get hold of him?

Really lovely, patient staff here who go above and beyond. Phoned today for blood test results and blamed myself for the result, receptionist talked me down so nicely and calmly, I really appreciated it. Have had trouble trying to call but theyre busy and its not the staffs fault, theyre under a lot of pressure and doing a wonderful job. Hayley the nurse here is a real credit to the profession, Ive been through a lot this past year and shes been incredibly friendly and knowledgable throughout, its made it far less stressful.
