Our home has been transformed from a tired 3 bed semi into a beautiful modern functioning home . Phil is a good communicator always happy to help and offer good advice. His team are hard working and nothing is too much trouble. We had our kitchen knocked through ,new kitchen fitted, underfloor heating , (this is a winner ) new bathroom , plastering throughout , new windows, hallway tiled and a WC put in downstairs. The new kitchen is amazing, the bathroom is really funky and the is the tiled hallway is absolutely stunning.

I have used Phil Oakley Contractors on and off for the last 15 years to maintain my house (everything from a new kitchen ceiling with recessed lights to preserving bargeboards and soffits). I have never found them to be less than excellent. My latest problem was a leaking roof. Phil came himself to assess the job on the day I phoned him and his roofer came when he said he would and did an excellent job. The one thing you want above all else from a builder is reliability and with Phil you get that in spades. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Without doubt, this is the best go-to building company for private property maintenance I have found. Keep their number in your contacts list. I have used Phil Oakley Construction for several property maintenance jobs through the years, ranging from minor electrical work to tiling and more extensive brickwork. In every case, I have had honest and sound appraisals of the job, with transparent fair pricing. I found them by chance several years ago when I had a longstanding troublesome ingress of rain water, the root cause of which, four other contractors had failed to correctly identify and fix. Phils tradesman assessed and identified the cause within five minutes of arriving on site and explained to me the cause and remedy in laymans terms. Needless to say, they completed the job promptly and efficiently.
