I was a bit nervous at first. A company trading for 6 years, with only 31 reviews. They charged me 78 after a quick inspection. It was supposed to take 48hrs. In the end, it took 3 weeks. The first call I had was to say that they could repair it, but couldn't guarantee the fix will hold. I asked for a refund which they refused. So what did I have to lose? Famous last words. I called again to chase after about a week. And was told they cracked the screen during the repair. The screen was fine previously so they damaged the laptop. Again I was patient and understanding. I waited another week again with me chasing. Next they said they broke the hinge again, had to glue it and now we had to wait for the glue to dry. Finally laptop returned. We used it for a week and when an empty paper tray on the desk fell on it not only the hinge but also the screen came apart. My son said it was barely a tap! So we rang up, he explained it was uneconomical to repair as he said (fair enough) although he made it worse with the screen. I asked for a report to this effect to claim on my home insurance. He initially agreed. I chased for 2 weeks and then he demanded an extra 85. Bearing in mind he didn't even see the laptop again. 85 to send an email. Months without a laptop based on a small issue that should have taken a screw to fix. I should have gone to my regular guy who would have done it for less money without causing more damage. And accepted ownership in putting it right if he made it worse instead of trying to fleece me for more and more money. Disappointed. Whatever you do, don't pay money upfront as they might not fix the laptop and they never ever give you your money back. Thanks for your reply which is just not true!! Wow. You said it couldn't be repaired. All I have asked is you write the same in an email. Perhaps you can just email me through a report? You seem happy to discuss over Google reviews!
