**UPDATE June 2021** Sadly, Pete the proprietor passed away recently. A top bloke! both he and the Wayfarers will be sorely missed. At the time of writing there is no information as to the future of the cafe. RIP Mate. My original review One of the longest running roadside Cafes in Newport . top grub (steak pie with suet pastry is to die for!) Curry special on Fridays. Superb breakfasts / brunches too. Highly recommended.

Wanted a bacon sandwich, but they didn't have any bacon or mushrooms, so we settled for a sausage sandwich and coffee. We sat down and when we looked around the overall condition of the place was disgusting. How they can sell food in those conditions. The council should close them down.Absolutely disgusting!!
