Bob Dowen Rally Services

I took my car to Bob and Sy after a recommendation from a bodyshop. I am absolutely blown away with the service provided and the communication throughout. I am very particular with what I want done, and who works on my car and although it wasnt a huge job, I was sent pics along the way and consulted at each point. We tasked Bob Dowen rally services to complete a grp4 shell, the car did not go there in brilliant shape and did have accident damage to the A pillar. They assured me they were upto the job and could get this car back in great shape. Please see images of the work that was carried out by themselves. The A pillar is still in by 2 inches and the doors don't open as they catch on the new front wings they fitted. They have just welded on repair panels at the bottom of the quarter panels without joggling or fitting in flush. The welding looks like an apprentice has carried it out with it looking like it has ran out of gas half way through some welds. We have had to remove the new front wings they fitted to get door gaps and fit a new a pillar and throw the new parts they fitted in the bin. We have previously seen shells done by themselves to a high standard so didn't inspect this before return which in hindsight we should have. I would urge anybody having any work carried out to inspect all work before accepting there vehicle back so they do not end up in the same position as myself as once the vehicle has left they do not want to acknowledge there poor workmanship. They block you on social media and ignore all phone calls.
