Recently used this store to clear my late mothers house. A 2 bedroom house cost 750 to empty. They employed a third party company to carry out the work, MGG Logistics. They arrived in a van branded MGG and wearing BHF uniforms. During the removal the damaged the stairs banister and smashed a door to the point the frame And hinges were beyond repair. When I spoke to the shop About it I was told to contact MGG as it was nothing to do with them. The issue is MGG are a dissolved company that should not be trading. They had no insurance but asked me in writing to make a claim against a different company. Obviously this would be fraud so I couldnt do it. Following discussion with BHF who admitted that they were still paying a dissolved company and just prior to court action being taken they settled paying compensation for the damage Caused While BHF in general may do excellent work I feel that this particular branch is doing something a bit underhanded. All of this is either in writing by text or email and all the details passed to companies house and hmrc. Sadly I cant reply to the response below. I find the reply from the feed Team sums up the running of BHF. As I already said compensation had already been paid by BHF for the damage caused by their subcontractors. This was arranged by the feedback team and in their response they seem to claim no knowledge and ask for more details.

I would like to congratulate the Manageress on her abilities, she has managed to reach a very high standard of : Rudeness : Poor communication skills : Passing the Buck : upsetting a member of staff, who clearly had learning difficulties. She ( Michelle is her name ) accused me of being rude, but I was simply complaining about being sold a soiled mattress. I had been led to believe was new. I will never go there again while she is employed there. Kevin Barber .
