My father collected his mpv from S and L today, Lisa and Steve have done a brilliant job repairing damage to the front passenger seat bolster, rear passenger seat and floor carpet. My father is absolutely delighted with the first class results, fantastic! We can't recommend them highly enough. Both their skills need to be seen to be appreciated fully. Really unhappy. I booked in my car in Nov 2022 for Jan 2023. I messaged a few times to ask about times but i got no reply. When it came to the Jan appointment they knew nothing about the booking even though they had sent me a confirmation text and i had messaged them as well!.Then I rebooked for Feb. When I turned up in Feb they told me they had quoted me 140 ( this wasnt an estimate it was a set amount) for the bottom square of my car seat to be reupholstered but now due to covid prices it would be 190. I said if I had been quoted 140 how could it now be 190. She kept saying covid prices but when she originally quoted me it was Nov 2022! I think prices would have gone up by then due to covid. I said this wasn't acceptable you can't just up the price. I didn't get a call to say this had happened and when I rebooked they never told me. They had the material through in November!! That gave them 3 months to tell me, Plenty of time to say the price had gone up. Basically on the day I was given the option to pay 50 more on top of the 140 or they wouldn't do it as it wasn't worth it for them as they would only make 40. Her words were we can to and fro as much as you like but it will be 190. I cant actually afford another 50 it had taken me ages to save up the 140 so what can I do? So I left. I've been waiting since Nov to get this done and now I will have to start again. Don't go to this place don't waste your time!! Im sure they are great at what they do but so are other local companies. I wouldnt ever encourage anyone to use S and L Autotrimmers. If i could have given them zero stars i would have. They have zero customer service and if they quote you a price dont trust it and make sure you know this may go up without any pre warning! Service: Upholstery repair
