I spoke to the landscaping contractor last week; he confirmed my suspicions and then advised the councils next plan is to level the area toward the railway bridge. Are they that flush with funds that they can waste this money? Does this mean no increase in council tax next year? Surely there are so many other projects that require this money. Infrastructures for the rapid increase of residential areas possibly. Then I asked the young gentleman if he was local "No Aberdare" he replied. Well! how green is that? Not to mention the efficiency lost in travelling time taken. Should we not be utilising our own contractor?
