Booked our mini bus to Stansted airport, lovely driver couldn't fault him , bus was supposedly checked before our journey but that weren't the case , seat loosened I fell flying hurt all my neck just recovering from radiotherapy, driver had to find somewhere then to dump the seat , still waiting on an apology, that minibus weren't checked!!!!

Lovely service. Was some initial confusion about location drop offs. But after speaking to a lovely lady on the phone Cath, and our bus driver Jamie it was all sorted efficiently. Dropping us to our correct spaces with excellent customer service.

Well Done... Banwell Coaches and Taxis. Your Support for The Poppy Appeal again this year means a Serviceman or Woman will get the treatment they so richly deserve. Defending The Nation comes at a cost and you have helped cover that cost. Again WELL DONE

Disappointed and let down with service offered as long standing regular customers for last few years. Poor communication and slap dash approach to booking. Very unpleasant unprofessional approach to a pre booked journey of which several had already been undertaken previously with Banwell with no issues until apparently now. I believe more money was not asked for and instead of being clear and up front and ask for it they decided to make excuses when initially not picking up from my call and on second time calling answered and absolve themselves of the issue and cancel my transport. Which is fine as I demanded a full refund as I had agreed to their request and always paid upfront prior to the journey by bank transfer. I was not given the same courtesy and bundled a wad of cash into my shocked hand by a bemused driver who had to return to the office to collect the remaining amount. I had to arrange at short notice alternative transport. Extra cost incurred. Truelly abysmal and abhorrent customer service. As I tried to get a clear response not just one mode of transport was sent to the address but another. Initially the transport and driver were sent away as it was not what was booked previously. As another driver and the transport we had booked turned up I queried if the driver had communicated with the person in charge who had seemed happy to accept that I wanted a refund and offered no alternative or apology and upon speaking to myself with a bewildered driver holding his phone up to me and my partner while the office on speaker phone were confusedly communicating on another phone on speakerphone to the person in so called charge. I was rudely reminded they are 'running a business ' to which I can concur it is a business that was happy to take my money previous years on repeated journeys booked but now not so and instead of offering a repeated customer an apology and alternative which is unlike any business I heard of but happily I booked another firm out of the area so the money goes to that area instead.

We regularly had a minibus 8+ seating from this company for 2 adults, 1 pre teen, 3 dogs and lot of luggage for a set price which went up with fuel. We paid without fuss. We had a minibus on the way for Christmas and then booked a minibus to return home. Today a 6 seater car came to pick us up which was no minibus, even on their own website it clarifies what is a taxi? Anything 6 seater and below. What is a minibus? Anything 8 seater and above to 16 then it goes to coach hire. We requested a minibus and paid the money requested via bank transfer. So one of the owners who actually took the booking and money actually drove us a few times even took her friend with her and dropped her off in another area. So today we refused the 6 seater she said when we first used them we used a 6 seater then we can use it now even though our dogs are bigger with a new pup now, we had Christmas gifts and luggage but managed to fit everything in the same number of bags we brought down. She said that they had no minibus but one came up. Lie 1. Then she said we only ordered 6 seater. Lie 2. We have texts with us having ordering a minibus previously and recently. Then on the she started on about having a 6 seater on a very first journey on the phone but what does that has to do with a new booking? It's obvious they were holding us hostage for more money. So we called there bluff and asked for the money back which we paid day in advanced . We will be contacting trading standards and the council department which deals with hackney carriage and make official complaints. Will be speaking to solicitors to taking them to small claims court and claim for business I am losing today and tomorrow. Unprofessional service from owners.
