Rooms: The rooms was spacious, bright and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities you would need including a TV with access to streaming services like Netflix and Amazon prime at no additional cost. The free WiFi was really good as well. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge tub that we availed of one night, a large shower with dual waterfall and normal heads. The bed was really comfy with thick luxurious sheets, pillows and duvet. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Nearby activities: Theres beautiful walks and not far away lots of restaurants etc. Safety: The home has electric gates (youre given a remote for this with your room key) so we felt very secure and knew the car was safe. Walkability: Lots of great walks nearby including gardens Food & drinks: The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of cooked options available as well as cereals, breads, fresh fruit and yogurt Noteworthy details: Cath and Howard are absolutely fantastic hosts, we loved learning all about the history of the home as well as a little about Howards Olympic history!

My Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights instead of staying in Central Cardiff- it was only an easy 35 minute drive away, and im so glad we did-what an absolute gem of a place!!! I don't even know where to start, it's stunning. Every aspect of your stay is catered to- if you need any information on the area or things to do- then both Cath and Howard can list many things to do and see, as well as places to eat. The rooms are luxurious, immaculate and everything is of the highest standard and quality. Comfy beds and beautiful bed linen ensures a great nights sleep! Lovely spacious bathroom, and a shower I didnt want to get out of! Breakfast each morning was a complete knockout too. Fresh fruits and yogurt, freshly made (served still warm) bread, blueberry muffins and granola- all made by the wonderful Cath! Followed by a delicious fry up- items of your choice all meats provided by the local butcher- we couldn't fault it. Cath and Howard are the most perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble!!! (If Carlsberg made B&B hosts!!!) try and take the time to look at all the (vast) beautiful pictures and memorabilia dotted around the place, the history is astounding! We can't wait to visit again!!! (Until then, we off to stick a fence around some land....cheers Howard!!!) Can't reccomend the place enough!! See you soon!!
