We were visiting Wales.and i work up with excruciating lower chest pain ,as a male i held on till i realised that his is not just about me.A ambulance was called out for me and the expected arrival time was 3 hours, well I just remembered thinking omgosh,a ambulance arrived just under a hour.a gentleman named wayne and a lady named Leeann came to my rescue, absolutely awesome human beings.please keep up the professional work and caring you guys do. Regards Tyron weiss Ps they went beyond what was expected of them.

Refused point blank to send a vehicle to an old gentleman who had fallen in the street because we (strangers passing by) could not identify him. As far as they were concerned he was staying in the rain until somebody happened by who knew him.

Fantastic service from the crew who attended my elderly mother today in Monmouth. They were caring and empathetic which made her feel safe and also treated her with humility. I know we had to a wait awhile for them to arrive but she wasnt in danger and that is due to a Government funding issue. Thank you very much to the team that included Mary.

After making an emergency call to the ambulance service yesterday I felt compelled to share the experience. So many times I hear of such negativity towards our nhs and its services, but on this occasion I have to say I am so very impressed. From the time of making the 999 call to my elderly father being admitted to the resuscitation unit I received 100% service. My father was treated with care and consideration and I was kept informed at every stage of treatment. Thank you to ALL staff involved with South Wales Ambulance Service.
