Popped in here today to get some food having had a look around a few days ago. On view are seemingly homemade pies, quiches and desserts along with speciality breads and cheeses etc. So after ordering the 'Meal Deal' which consists of a sandwich, a packet of Pipers crisps and a drink (decent enough value @ 4.50), we were excited to get it back to our campsite and get stuck in to our cheese and chutney sandwich, especially as we bought some cakes for afters, so imagine our disappointment upon opening the boxes to find a sandwich made with cheap supermarket sliced bread, some flavourless pre-grated catering cheese and pickle! Now, as I was asked if I wanted the 'Meal Deal' or just the sandwich I'm not sure if that makes a difference to the products used, but either way it left (not much) taste in the mouth. Well, we still had the Apple and Blackberry Crumble Tarts for dessert, but then we ate them... soggy pastry base, flavourless fruit and crumble top. Elevated to the heady heights of 2 stars simply because the old lady that served us was so nice, friendly and polite.

Fabulous deli. Can't fault the quality of the produce here. The pies are wonderful!

Stunning to say the least. What an amazing box of food . Beautiful selection of savouries and gorgeous home made cakes. Can not rate it high enough. Fantastic value

Very nice cafe with a wide selection of cakes and puddings plus a well varied hot food menu. Highly recommend it.
