Firstly I leave positive reviews however this is the first really poor but honest review Outdated and run down rooms noise from main road. Leak in toilet present on floor when arrived informed reception 2 hours later repaired. Mould on the wall in the wardrobes. Food average. Stay date 28-03-2023 Rooms: Smelt of damp hence humidifier in the room! very outdated and dusty how can ANYONE give this hotel a higher rating unless it has changed management since the last 5 star review. The Main website is false to the reality of what you see and experience at this hotel

Attended a wedding, to begin... Day Food was ok best part was main meal Haddock but bread on starters was cold and rock hard , pudding was ok although tasted more like pureed crumble, the night food was meant to be a hog roast, I've had plenty of hog roast and I can tell you that was NOT a hog roast it was VILE! Chairs weren't ideal my chair had to be replaced as I didn't feel safe sitting on it (wonky chair) and another chair broke that evening. Staff were very nice and polite Location was nice, although the room fees were very excessive cheaper to go home.
