Sent by caerphilly council to inspect my black walls called them back today to be told its mould when i questioned my sons bedroom wall which is not black but soaking wet which it has been for over 2 years he shouted at me its mould and said dont shout at me when i said i wasnt shouting im deaf he slammed the phone down on me i am slightly confused how he knew it was mould when i never even gave him my address

A damp inspector turned up into the property as Cardiff Council arranged this as our temporary accommodation is provided by the council and saw the extreme situation of the mould and dampness that is everywhere in the accommodation. He said, he will send us the damp report in the next few days which I chased them up by emails and never heard back. Unethical, inhuman, and biased damp assessment conducted to meet the council needs and to manipulate our case. Damp and mould causing major issues to our health and this company is part of this. Bit disappointed thought a guarantee meant that if you had damp coming through after having work done you was covered. Looks like this is not the case,I have to pay them 100 for them to look at their work and if they deem that it's not down to them I loose my 100. In process of getting solicitor or contacting CCBC trading standards.
