As a complete beginner, my introduction to leatherwork could not have been a better experience: perfect environment with all tools allocated per person; always someone available who knew what help you needed, or when to call Gaynor!; and never patronising, always fun. The introduction to leatherwork gave me the confidence to work on my own, but with the knowledge that I could always call Gaynor for advice or practical suggestions. One essential learning point, having decided that I wanted to work at home, was what tools to purchase: there are many starter kits on the market, but Gaynor introduces you to the essential stuff and to improvisation, so that you can stock your tool box with the equipment to suit your preferred projects. I will return for another course,. James Pollock Solva, UK
