        I booked The Charcoal Hut for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary - it was all done as a surprise for my husband and we even renewed our vows in the beautiful woodland led by our amazing celebrant and host Dinah. The whole experience was magical, wonderful... I would even say life changing. If you're looking to escape the pace of life and reconnect with each other and with nature, this is the place for you. If you're looking to be well looked after and pampered, this is also the place for you. All the little treats, the sights, the sounds, even the smells were wonderful. And the hot tub was AMAZING. We haven't anything but praise for this place... book it now, you will love it.

        We had a wonderful stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. John and Dinah gave us a warm welcome. Apparently we are the oldest couple (78 and 74) that have stayed here. Our age and consequent medical conditions presented a challenge as we both had to make several trips during the night to the WC hence the 4 stars rather than 5. If only we had been younger!
