Talked to a male doctor but got spoken down to and left feeling so upset. There is no reason to speak to anyone without kindness and respect. The doctor dismissed everything I asked about, despite the courage it takes to talk about issues and the difficulty in finding the time to go. I found better information given on the NHS website, there was no point going. They also dismissed a bad cough my elderly grandmother, with dementia, had for over 2 weeks that was getting worse, I had to return more than once for them to finally take it seriously. Asking someone with memory issues how long they have had the cough for, or talking about any other issues that isn't affecting them directly then and there means they will not give a correct answer. Not listening to the official carer, who is there to help and provide information, is very unprofessional and not sensitive to the needs of those suffering from dementia.
