Good staff but this place is a vanity project, where's the A and E???? This hospital was originally built with the promise of being the biggest in the area with multiple wards and of course an A and E unit to relieve the stress off of Prince Charles but guess what? that didn't happen, most of the hospital isn't even being used (atleast as not as much as it should be) there's multiple balconies which are always empty, It's all just for show. Very disappointing given how they shut 2 hosptials (Aberdare and Mountain Ash) which both had A and E units in favour of this new supposedly better hospital.

Lovely clean spacious environment..Met some really helpful staff who was happy to help and were polite with it. Then we met miss personalty who was on reception in the xray dept what a rude miserable unhelpful person. If you are that miserable in work finish. Manners cost nothing .

Very clean and helpful, happy staff. The carpark was very full and we had to wait for a car to pull out to get a space. At 15.30 the cafeteria was closed, there are 3 vending machines outside with a good selection of cold drinks and snacks. The hot drinks dispenser looked good and we would both have liked a hot drink but there were no cups! Someone had not refilled the cups which for a hospital of that size with a throughput of staff, patients and visitors is a pretty poor show. I did report it at reception and they were trying to find someone to refill the cups as I left.
