Set in the heart of Monmouthshire, so much to do around the area. Canoeing on the River Wye, Tintern Abbey, Symonds Yat, Castle's Galore, Golf courses and mountain walks all a short drive away. Set in an Idyllic place, quiet and so relaxing. Spotless lodges with fantastic amenities. Easy to find on Google maps but not Satnav. Will definitely be returning for another fantastic visit.

What a fantastic place. The owners could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The place was kitted out with everything and more that you need for a lovely relaxing get away . Contrary to other reviews the bed and door size are fine. Im 6ft 5 and had no issues. The dogs are adorable and are lovely welcome visitors in the morning. Would not hesitate to recommend and we will be returning!!

We left early... When we arrived we tried to use the shower before the hot tub, but this just ran cold as there was no gas and had to request this to be fixed. If you're slightly above average height, be wary of the doorways. I had to stoop very low to enter all doorways and hit my head numerous times in the short space of time we were there. General finish of the cabin is leftover furniture. Definition of glamping is more luxurious than camping, but you'd have a better time wrapped in tarpaulin sleeping on a cardboard box in a cave. The finish of the newly built shower cabin left a lot to be desired. It was like a Wendy house in size. Door was for for a child and was well below shoulder height. The window wasn't private and anyone could come and view through the window of the door as the "curtain" leaves a gap at the top. Not private at all. There was a big gap above the door which meant the room got cold no matter what heat it was set at. The bed is the massive downside to the cabin. The mattress felt very soft and seemed very old old as it sank in the middle. Supposedly a memory foam and spring mattress, but it must have Alzheimer's as its memory wasn't there. Again if you're slightly above average height you may struggle as the bed has a footboard. I tried to sleep on this but in the end gave up and slept on the floor (comfier than the bed IMO). If you like soft beds, are 5'5" or smaller, don't mind a bit of a cold shower here and there, get on with rude hosts who insult people based on looks/size; then this is this place for you. Would not recommend.

We Spent 3 nights at the Lodge, So peaceful and quiet - the dogs are a joy, especially little Charlie so cute and cuddly. The place is cosy and warm and has everything we needed for our stay - this is the 2nd time we have visited and was great to see that they've added little shower room right next room. Hosts are always accommodating - Hot tub fabulous and better than most we used before. We'll no doubt be back again. thank you.
