Very relaxing a quiet cottage. The holiday let people are lovely and check you are Okay once you arrive. The place is bright and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of blinds in the downstairs living area. Both front and back doors are glass from top to bottom so no privicy at night time, especially as there are several cottages together and people use the same walk way to get to their cottages which are all joined together. There's cottages are converted old barns which are beautiful. You can take your dogs on this holiday. There are local sheep and a cockral which croak at the crack of dawn but its a lovely reminder of being out of the city. There is dead man's lake which is a local walks distance away. The actual cottages are off the main road and down a narrow one lane country road. You do need transport. Local shops are Aldis which is a 10 min drive away. There is also a local pub which is just as you get to the main road. You have to book in advance should you which to eat there. Cosy little place with its regulars.
