I have been an NHS patient here for many years. After phoning for an appointment for a cracked tooth, I was told that I failed to attend an appointment in Aug 22, that had been booked in Aug 21. When I explained that I had not received a reminder, I was told they don't send out reminders anymore. After apologising for missing the appointment, I asked if they had any appointment available soon, only to be told I had been removed from their NHS list and they could no longer offer me any treatment. 1 strike and your out!! But an easy way to reduce the NHS patient list so they can take on more private patients I guess?

Had 2 fillings and Isabelle and Maria were very good at putting me at ease and ensuring I wasnt in any discomfort. Lovely girls and made the experience much happier for me. Thanks ladies!

Abysmal service. Having been treated here previously as an NHS patient, I phoned after having returned from overseas to get a check up privately. The receptionist couldn't book me in for around eleven weeks and insisted she must take payment for the appointment of 150 immediately. Having never had private dental treatment and being in some discomfort I expressed that it seemed unusual to pay upfront and that if another dentist could see me quicker due to my discomfort I would need to cancel. Indeed I found that 150 for an examination was extraordinarily high even with xrays etc. Other private dentists offer this for less than half the price in the area and would see me the next week. I had to contact Charles Street Dental to cancel my appointment with over ten weeks notice, less than a week after I made the appointment. They refused to give me back the full payment I made and said that it was due to it being a deposit. It was never conveyed to me it was a deposit so naturally I was very unhappy and after contacting management they continued to refuse to refund me the full cost. This is a warning to find other dentists and not to attend this practice. Their staff are unhelpful, unfriendly and they will steal your money. They are overpriced and have no concept of customer service.

Great dentist, my only problem is wheelchair access is very difficult since the heavy glass door was fitted.
