Excellent weekend aboard the floating cabins at Ty hotels. There are 4 in the harbour which are very spacious, have a nice shower room and a nice decking area out front. The cabins are floating, but cleverly stabilised so even in a high wind, you still only feel a gentle rocking motion. We were surprised at how warm they were, we didnt need the heating on at all, so dont think that this is just for the summer months!

We arrived during heavy rain and high winds. It was so warm and cosy inside. The swans came to say hello too. The decor was exceptional. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby by. Free wifi. Tea and coffee supplied. One cabin, moro allows one dog too. Theres nothing like watching the weather at its extremes doing it's worse while sitting in the warm in the other side of the glass. Definitely worth a visit. We will be returning and hopefully during another storm;)
