A little gem of a site. A beautuful lady welcomed us, she was sooooo lovely. Everything was in great order, although the shower and toilet are very old they were clean. It could do without a shower curtain as it kept moving inwards, a simple screen door would be better. Apart from that it was such a relaxing experience. Slap bang in the middle of Cardiff and Newport. We were visiting my dad in Caerphilly so it was a perfect location. I read a very damning previous review which I can not agree with at all. I think the owners should take payment over the phone, I am sure the lady's family could do this for her, it would save loosing money because people dont turn up when booked. We had a magical time here and especially appreciated hearing the stories from M, she is a pure piece of gold. We felt really at home. Thank you M.

Super little hideaway c/l. Lovely lady owner. V peaceful. Basic but all the services including electric and a v clean single use shower (NB not toilet) Access may be tight but units larger than ours managed it. Take care!

Good location. Adequate facilities (plumbed toilet and warm shower) and very friendly owner. Mainly for caravans but good for my tent. Was given directions to private lake to relax.

An excellent small campsite with good access to Newport, Cardiff and areas close to these locations. Although you will need a car or bike. Basic amenities include shower, toilet, water/toilet emptying and filling. Mainly grass pitches with some hard standings. Although its on a working farm I found it to be fairly quiet. Typical cl prices 15 per night in 2021.
