        Sunflower has been part of Merthyrs high street for more than 30 years and while its changed ownership a few times it still serves up good old fashion chip shop cafe grub. I use it as regularly as I can and find the service polite, friendly and speedy whilst the food served is lovely and what youd expect from this kind of restaurant. The gravy and chips tastes as good today as it did when I used to visit with my parents as a child decades ago.

        We left due to being ignored by staff. We were given a menu waited 15 minutes, but everyone else who entered the restaurant after us was waited on. Didnt bother getting food, and were not even asked why we decided to leave. Poor service.
