Refurbished my bathroom. Disgusting job done. I wouldnt employ them again. I have tried to e mail them to make a complaint but so far no good it keeps coming back. My next tactic is to write to Gareth Jehu who is the owner Electrical and Building Solutions . Such a bad job done. Damaged my goods scratched all the chrome pipe fittings. I could cry its so bad. Update October 2018 So got back to me surprise, and wanted to put the work right. Result was splash back tiles stuck on with silicone!!! All have had to be removed. Bath stand pipes refitted too far apart so have to be redone. Radiator chrome tap fitted wonky. And now the bath waste leaking through to my lounge ceiling. So floor has had to be taken up bath removed to find the leak. Now I have to buy more floor tiles employ a tiler to refit. But EBS has promised to pay for the carpenter to fix the architrave and door. EBS did however get a plasterer to finish the ceiling and hallway plaster work that was bad. Also replaced all chrome that was damaged. And replaced the vanity unit and sink. However EBS damaged the vanity unit when trying to fit it then put white emulsion or chalk paint over it to hide the damage. Im not that stupid the whole lot washed off revealing the damaged unit. Also as yet I have not had a certificate for electrical work done despite asking. I have been told by a family member who is registered that the owner of EBS is not even registered as an electrician.

To start, if there was a 0 star option i would select this. I employed Gareth to undertake fairly simple electrical work on my house: - Change in consumer unit - 3 new lighting circuits - new plug sockets He is charismatic and easy to talk to, however, he gave the only truly negative experience I have had with a tradesperson. The worse bits - For no apparent reason, after not completing the job he became un-contactable for more than a month. The only way i managed to get into contact was through the official complaints process of his competent person scheme - Stroma (note this down if you do employ him) - Unbelievably, there was no argument or disagreement had taken place. To this day I do know why he did not get back in contact, but the impact if had on my project was significant - The agreed work was never completed and at the end of the 4 month ordeal he advised me that his company to go into liquidation - The work that he signed off was genuinely awful. Most wires were loose, unlabelled and wires exposed. I will post picture of the work shortly
