James was a total legend. Was really open about what my bike needed and if he was of not a moral standing he could have charged me more. He didnt. He went above and beyond and was more than helpful with guidance and ongoing support. I thoroughly recommend Mud Cows and will be using them for all my bike needs. Thank you.

I arrived with 2 broken spokes on the front wheel. They were replaced, and the wheel retrued, straight away. The quality of the repair, the service, the communication, and the price, were all perfect. I had a 4-day window to get the repair done - 2 other bikeshops on the mainland turned me down (in fairness, they could have been fully booked), but Mud Cows fitted me in straight away. I can't recommend Mud Cows enough.

I can highly recommend James based on the experience i had regarding him undertaking the conversion of my hybrid bike to an ebike. I will be back when I need it serviced.

What an absolute gem! Someone who's clearly passionate about bikes, skilled and highly experienced. I damaged my freewheel hub. Bought a replacement from Halfords, but somehow managed to break the thread while putting it back on. Bought another one from Halfords but got them to put it on this time as I didn't have a torque wrench. Later found out that Halfords had done exactly the same thing as I had. Clearly, I wasn't going back to Halfords. So did a quick google search and found Mud Cows. James, and his little assistant, were both super nice. James explained loads of things I didn't know about my bike and gave me a full overview of the possible solutions. The following evening, I picked up my bike and everything was sorted. In future, I'm not going try and do my own repairs. It's way cheaper (as I don't have to buy my own tools) and infinitely quicker to just take it to James. I cannot recommend Mud Cows highly enough. Absolutely fantastic service, 10/10, utterly, utterly brilliant. Very happy customer
