From the warm log fires, the crisp bedding, the decorated Christmas tree and greenery from the grounds, all was done with care and genuine warmth.
The children and dog explored the gardens, played tennis, climbed, got muddy and had a thoroughly good time, while the adults prepared food in the extremely well equipped kitchen, eating at the generous sized dining table before relaxing each evening.
Wonderful hosts, we cant thank Jo and Stephen enough. Even coming out to the rescue on Christmas Day when the townies reversed into the ditch when retreating from the impassable ford.
