I love this reservoir. You travel up a valley surrounded by farmland, past the lower reservoir, then up into scrub and then up onto moorland. The reservoir backs up onto the Betws Mountain wind farm and you can continue to past it onto the Gower trail pilgrim road. The reservoir is remote, peaceful and beautiful. A lovely place to take a rest and eat your lunch (take away your litter please). Paid parking, toilets and cafe at the lower reservoir. The cafe and toilets close at 4pm. Be careful of the time of the barrier closing in the evening. Lots of wildlife to see if you look around.

Beautiful walk up to the reservoir. Pretty flat just an incline to get to top of reservoir. Lovely and quiet. Plenty parking and the used the machine with ease - mobile banking app worked fine.
