Moved house and decided to go a few mins out the way to get to another Gwynns opticians because I had such a good experience at the Aberdare branch. Had an equally positive experience here so far. The optician I met was apparently covering for the regular optician but she was fab. The dispensing assistant was also wonderful and gave great advice whilst helping me to select frames. The selection of frames is one reason I like Gwynns because there is so much variety and frames I know I will never see someone else wearing. I was not rushed and I was encouraged to try as many frames as I liked despite the current situation and the staff having the clean every pair I tried. I also feel that I get a more accurate and thorough test of my sight at Gwynns than I have at other opticians and Ive tried many. A few years ago they spotted a potential issue that was monitored and found to be okay but was concerningly never spotted by my former optician and could have been serious. Again it was noticed here and discussed and I feel confident knowing I have a thorough check of the health of my eyes as well as a review of my prescription.
