Art is my Career Book

I was hired to work with the author of this book and as per part of our agreement, I was asked to read Art is my Career, prior to starting any work (plus do some research). I can see how the book could be helpful to someone with little marketing or business knowledge, but it is basic, and has errors in it. As well as that, I wasn't paid for the work that I did. In summary, an unprofessional author writing an unprofessional book. The information you can find in this book, is available in the most basic marketing books, or via a Google search.

This book is very special. In that it makes things easier to understand. Sema has broken down all the main points you need to know to get started with an Art business and its actually easy to follow. No complicated jargon, and straight to the point. I refer back to this when I get stuck on what to do next and it prompts me to keep going! Thanks for writing such a useful book Sema. Such a wonderful read! I didn't have the first clue on how to start up a creative business but this book was so insightful and well explained. The tone is friendly and gets across very detailed subjects in an easy and digestible way. Would highly recommend to anyone starting their career in the world of art!

Art is my Career is an absolute essential for anyone wanting to make a living out of their artwork. It's packed with practical tips and provides detailed information about the business and marketing side of starting a business (something I had no idea about beforehand). I've followed it step by step, made notes from every chapter and it's been key in setting up my own pet portrait business. It's a tool that I'll be able to keep going back to and I've not found anything else like this online so thank you Sema!

Im so happy that you decided to write this book Sema! I have read it through twice and Im now going back through taking notes and taking action ! It has completely changed the way I view what Im doing right now, and made me realise what I need to do to make my art business work .A must for every artist wanting to turn a art hobby in to a career!
