Bron Eifion Fishing Lakes & Lodges

Stayed in one of the pods which had a beautiful view and a hot tub. Incredibly peaceful, and the lady who we checked in with was very helpful and polite. The pod was clean inside and cosy, but bring towels, a bath mat and tea towels too. Theres a friendly cat that roams around and a cockerel who is like a little alarm clock (but we didnt mind it!) Its a great place for couples and those who want quiet. Its a little tricky to find but we rang up and was given directions with no problems at all. Nearby activities: The site has fishing lakes, and a short drive away is a rabbit farm, a llama trekking place, an activity centre, the castle, a lovely beach and a small town.

When we entered the lodge, it seemed small and terrible. When we took a close look at the rooms we were staying in, there was a horrible, disgusting and appealing stench. Dust was all over the wardrobe and in the toilet there weren't any necessities such as towels. Our holiday was overall fantastic as we went hiking and stuff. I advise you if you come here, bring: towels, wet wipes, air fresheners, a dressing gown (as it gets cold at night, some pound coins to pay for electricity and some pans as some of the pans were dirty. There was a view of the lake which was phenomenal and the camping is usually very quiet (aside from those roosters but it wasn't a problem). We bring our bikes and had a great time. The region was very nice with some beautiful views. I advise coming here if you want a fishing trip because you can fish in the lake. The bad things were the smell, the toilet, and the kitchen but overall we had a good time. Rooms: The rooms had a disgusting stench and smell and the drawers had dust on them. At first it seemed terrible but we made it work.
