Llanfrechfa Grange Hospital

Ok my husband was told to go there yesterday morning for a biopsy on a lump in his stomach...Called me in afternoon saying he had to stay in and wasn't being done...Was expecting a simple biopsy done this morning and another night stay ... He asked if he could pop home to get stuff and was told if he leaves that's it he will loose his bed and slot.. He went in with no spare clothes or charger or anything as was told nothing about bringing stuff ... My son has just had to get a taxi too the hospital and back with some stuff for him ...As I do not drive .. He had surgery last Friday in neath for melanoma on his arm ..Not even a week post surgery... Simple biopsy has turned into a night mare ..He has 3 open wounds from Friday and he had none of his medication or anything ... It's a disgrace once he is home I shall be putting in a formal complaint..That is medical negligence..Poor man is sat waiting in there 6 days post op ... Awful and I'm heart broken ..

Fantastic staff in all the departments Ive been in, theyre rushed off their feet & lack of staffing cant be helped. Amazing people who work there including the non medical staff. Compared to Bristol its amazing! If you lived in Bristol youd soon know about waiting around..

Absolutely disgusting hospital my grand daughter 7 months was taken there by her parents last night struggling to breathe after 4 hours waiting they were told the wait was another 6 hours .priority should be given to young babies with breathing difficulties my daughter brougt her home and after another bad night she got emergency appointment at drs and given antibiotics the whole hospital is a shambles i wouldnt send a dog there she was born there too and her mother ended up in high dependency unit through neglect losing 3.5 ltrs of blood absolutely diabolical hospital didnt even get the follow up appointment they promised to discuss what went wrong or to check her over ...neglect at the highest level at this hospital....SUPER HOSPITAL....what a joke that is

Ok we get it, the NHS are under pressure that doesnt mean the staff and nurses have to try inflict the same pressure to the patients that have been waiting for over 16 hours, they make you feel uncomfortable asking anything because they secretly enjoy making you feel stressed like them and want you to have a bad experience so you feel there pain which they deep down enjoy, theyre rude and unhelpful and it is inexcusable, you ask them a simple question and they ignore you because they can get away with it, not even a Im not sure sorry they have got away with this for too long because you would need to be a sociopath to work there and fit into the bad habits of the rest of them, much better treatment in 3rd world hospitals I have received.

Vey long wait 8 hour the staffs are up against it very busy hospital but the staff very polite and helpful
