Doliago is right up there with the good lady and myselfs top sites, and we've done more than a few! If you are wanting peace and quiet , no overcrowding and simplicity then this has it all and Liz who looks after the campers is a lovely lady. You couldnt want more too with the fab Elan valley not far away at all (good food and cake at the Elan visitor centre !)and one really should visit the Red kite feeding centre up the road. Quite amazing. The mountain road (the B road) over to Devils bridge and Aberystwth is a great drive with amazing views. Cant wait to get back! Oh, and some very good trout etc fishing to be had via Rhayader AA and the Wye and Usk foundation close by !

Fabulous soft mown field beside a stream in a valley, great as near to wild camping but with toilets, water, waste facilities. Stunning and peaceful. Highly recommend, lots of walks and mountain passes ancient roads, cairns, forgotten dwellings, red kites, swifts catching insects over the meadows. Young calves chasing on the hill and sheep grazing peacefully.
