Wow, what an amazing find by my wife! We stayed in the little cow shed cottage for the weekend and it was fantastic, spacious for two and cosy with the log burning stove and snug up the ladder. The log fire heated hot tub was a complete bonus (we'd forgotten about that until the day before we arrived), especially with one super clear night. Sitting in the tub, in almost complete darkness looking up at the stars was a really memorable experience. Dan & Elly are the owners here and couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Although it was off season for the Safari tents, Dan showed us around them, and they are very high quality indeed. We'll be looking to stay in them sometime in the near future. What really impressed us was their attention to detail and efforts to make sure that the tents are fully accessible, really impressed by the lengths they've gone to. The whole site is worth exploring, from the duck pond to the pig styes at the top of the hill. Kids will love it all, with a big field below the tents and the chance to feed chickens. Dan has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and can recommend places to visit and dear & drink, several of which we tried out. We could have stayed here for much longer. Depending on your phone network, you might find limited or no mobile reception. We're in EE and O2 and had almost nothing. This is probably a good thing when you're staying somewhere like this, and gives you the chance to disconnect. I can't recommend this very special place enough, truly wonderful.

Absolutely loved our stay at Canvas and Campires. It is a well thought out set up, with cozy sofa's, comfortable beds, kitchen and wood burning stove. We had the accessible tent with an en-suite bathroom. With all those luxuries we were still able to experience the Welsh wind and rain on the canvas, making the tent even more cosy. The hosts, Ellie and Dan, are wonderful too, they have so much local knowledge and can give tons of recommendations for days out and places to eat. We visited with 3 boys aged 12, 14 and 16 and they all enjoyed the holiday. We would go back in a heart beat!

We've just returned from an amazing stay. Dan and Ellie were both lovely hosts, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The tents are spacious and the beds comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need for a few days away. We also had a hottub which the kids especially loved. Couldn't recommend C&C enough. Will definitely be back again soon.

This place is amazing. The hosts Dan And Ellie are very welcoming and friendly and always willing to chat as are the pigs, sheep and chickens that run around the site. The site itself is well laid out with plenty of space between the safari tents. The tents are LARGE! We had one of the accessabilty tents and it was more spacious and well appointed than some of the lodges we have stayed at. We can say that we all really enjoyed our experience at Canvas & Campfires and that the accessible tent we stayed in was equipped with a fully accessible shower room, all doors were more than wide enough and the added touches of slightly higher tables and a wooden verander enabled us to enjoy some much needed family time. Wonderful place to stay I would reccomend with out hesitation.
