        As a family, staying in two rooms overnight, we enjoyed a really lovely stay here at the Grannell. It had everything we could wish for, comfortable bedrooms, very good food, and an extremely warm welcome....! Food & drinks: Excellent tasty, quality food.

        Lovely Sunday cavery lunch at the Grannell. I chose the beef which was beautifully tasty; a good sized portion. There was a very varied selection of vegetable dishes and all the trimmings you'd expect in a good roast dinner. The choice was one, two or three courses so I opted for two however my desert course, Apple crumble, became a take away as I was beyond eating another thing. The Grannell has a lovely atmosphere, nice comfortable surroundings, a beautiful slate floor and comfy sofas to sink into. Jo & her team are welcoming & friendly. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.
