Booked online & had excellent comms beforehand and a warm welcome from the Thomas family the evening we arrived. Overall a great little site that we will look to visit again. Easy to find, clean facilities & nice size pitches on level, well kept grounds. Good value for money and a really friendly & relaxed vibe without guests being on top of one another. The fire pits are a nice touch and a well stocked shop nearby. Really close to Lake Vyrnwy, we cycled from our pitch to the lake really quickly & easily. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed here August 2022 Perfect basic quiet location campsite with a shallow riverside setting to paddle and explore, great for spotting kingfishers and bats at dusk. Large pitch sizes, small play equipment for youngsters, wash up station, water, and two portaloos. We had pitch 4 in the far corner. Excellent comms from owner and good value. Local groceries shop 2 minutes away is open until 6.30pm Lovely site, great for families, bear in mind no showers but the river is crystal clear for washing in if you like!
