Dam View Cottage b&b

What can I say well was greeted by Pauline and Dave what a great couple full of knowledge about the place and places to visit ,Nothing is to much trouble the b n b is spotless the room was the king size , and view of the Dam lake vyrnwy what a beautiful place BE warned no pub near by just the hotel vyrnwy which has a bar and restaurant, Didn't go our selves we drove to llangynog which is a 15 min drive had a great meal to at the new inn pub ,or their is Llanfyllin a 15 min drive to .The area is beautiful, walked the Resivouir first day just a short walk not the whole lake ,second day went to waterfall amazing views and well worth going ,The b n b is so nice and breakfast is great fresh fruit yogurt muesli toast,tea coffee and of course the great breccy ,YOU can order an evening meal at the b n b for an xtra charge which we had on the second night which was very nice ,With it being so rural though just to say not really any live t v but u can watch players through WiFi on TV, which did us fine ,I will say if you are coming bring the old Road maps to as signal when out and about well their isn't any lol ,so Don't be relying on your phones sat nav The old map i,s best bet ,Last of all nice cafe by the bird watching hive just down the road great sausage and bacon butties scones cakes ,Baquettes not a massive choice but good enough Last of all thanks to David and Pauline for making us feel so welcome and at home fantastic couple Thank you for a great stay Show less

Pauline and Dave are perfect hosts. We had a fantastic stay in a very spacious room with a superbly comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were also excellent. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Beautiful area to visit and great place to stay at, The host are so kind, welcoming and full of support and help. Free car parking and free Wi-Fi Close to all point of interest

A lovely B&B, Pauline and David are great hosts. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. Lots to enjoy in the area, great place for walking, cycling, water sports, birdwatching.
