Can't praise Mick and Hayley highly enough what a lovely couple make you feel most welcome I had my Tandem flight with Mick the Bird very pleasurable and memorable experience scenery is stunning I urge all you bucket listers out there to book with YX paragliding you won't regret it Mick and Hayley run a very professional business

Fantastic day yesterday Tandem paragliding with my Son ,Gandson at Y Gryrn .Mick and his wife Hallie both so lovely and explained everything. It was so much more than I had expected just wonderful.I am 75yrs old and if anyone thinks they are too old l would say go for it Brilliant day .A big one for the bucket list .Thank you both Heather

What a great day I've just had, Mick, the owner of YX, gave me a full day's instruction on the basics of the sport. What a brilliant guy, so patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to many more days in the future once I get my energy back. Thanks Mick.

I can't comment on the actual paragliding as we didn't get to do it and I'm sure if we had done it, that they would have been great. i have done paragliding with three other companies around the country so i know how it works by now. the weather often stops you from flying which is not their fault however a few points that i was not not happy with at all. we are not well off and the money i spent on our vouchers was hard earned- i know that most vouchers have a expiry date, however most instructors will just continue to extend the voucher time until the experience is done, we've had many past times where weather hasn't been ideal and the instructors have been nice and just extended it and then we've done it at a later date. however this was not the case here and we were told the vouchers could not be extended so we spent money on nothing! They don't legally have to extend a voucher date, it's just a kind professional thing to do. And given the nature of this kind of activity, it seems mean to do this. But what bugged me even more was when i had first booked the experience, i had asked straight out whether they flew in the area that we normally stayed with friends, the instructor said yes. Then when it came to the dates we were going to wales for, i texted as instructed and he had changed his tune, now saying that they only flew near Llangollen when he had clearly said that they flew all over Snowdonia and could fly much closer to us. Llangollen is way in land from where we normally stay and wasn't the area i really wanted to fly in. If i had known that they only flew there in the first place, then i would have not booked with them so i feel very misled by that as that was a deal breaker for me and i asked a very straight forward question and didn't get a honest answer. So no paragliding done, that's that, next time, i will be booking much more carefully with a different company that hopefully have a more professional manner. done lots in the past and never had this issue so this is a big disappointment!
