Shocking treatment couldn't get my son a appointment in the doctors being told to do e consult. The e consult was saying he needed to be seen, for a receptionist to tell me it's for emergency only. Fourth day I demand he be seen, he was only in the doctors two minutes when he was told he needed to be rushed to hospital as he was showing signs of diabetes. Fast forward two weeks and he was indeed type one diabetic, he was extremely ill and likely not of survived if he had gone to bed that night as he was close to a coma. All because it's a fight to see a GP face to face. They wouldn't give me a prescription even with a hospital letter explaining he was insulin dependent. Told me they ring the hospital have it out with them. Two weeks later after ringing up for more needles to inject the insulin the prescription was lost and I was told I'd be waiting for sometime. Even though he was in a hyper and needed to inject himself. This was pre ordered the day before to go to boots, the receptionist was rude and acted like we were a inconvenience to her even with my 14 year old son in need of insulin. Not even a apology, shocking treatment of a chil.

Dreadful. Getting an appointment to see or even speak to a Doctor is impossible. E-consult isnt always appropriate. Call between 8 and 9. Cant phone between 8 and 9? E-consult. Which is shut down or, if you do get on it, doesnt answer your questions. STOP THE E-CONSULT SYSTEM.

I'm going to change my GP. I don't feel safe. Their knowledge of mental health illness is limited. Had to contact them needing my bloods not receiving my medication on time which then leaves me with without medication over the weekend. Just don't seemed to be bothered. Moved up from cardiff 5 months ago seen GP once however had reasons where I think I would have preferred face to face.
