E & m motors and ej automotive are the same company car has been in the garage for the last 5 weeks since we bought it 3 months ago cameron payne who owns the company will lie through his teeth to you. car had a new mot which is a dodgy one stay well clear of this man and his shoddy cars

Bought a Fiesta from this place in December 2020. Found our recently that due to it being a Category D Vehicle it was only worth half what we paid for it. They told me it had a clean HPI check which it had not and also told me they would forward the service book which they did not,. They have also neglected to answer any of my e-mails. My advice is to steer clear.

BOUGHT A VW PASSAT B6 BACK IN 9/19 FOR 2,4095. HE HAD IT MOT DONE ON WHICH WAS NOT DONE pr PROPERLY THEY SAID IT PASSED BUT I GOT RETESTED ONLY TO FIND OUT IT WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE. AND I HAD TO PAY OVER 1,500 TO GET ON THE ROAD WHEN I RANG HIM HE WAS NOT INTERESTED. SO MY ADVICE IS TO DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS MAN UNLESS YOU HAVE LOTS OF MONEY TO THROW AWAY.

Okay, so.. ive seen a previous review on here stating that e j automotive ltd are E & M motor company limited. I don't know that for a fact but I do know that I have dealt with Cameron Payne via e j automotive ltd. I can't fault Cameron Payne as a person, he was very friendly and was willing for me to make payments over a 3 month period to purchase my car. But, when I finally bought the car on Friday 07/04/2023 I was driving home only to realise that there was alot of grey smoke coming from my exhaust. I Pulled over only to find out that there was no oil or coolant in the car. This is by far not the worst part of this review. I took the car to have a major service on Saturday morning only to have a call back saying that they urgently needed to speak to me regarding my car. So I've now walked over to the garage only to be told that my car should never have passed an mot and that it was unroadworthy. The head gasket has possibly gone & there is over 1500 worth of things that need doing and when I have reached out to Mr. Payne, he has started ducking my calls and messages and left me with no choice but to go to trading standards to fight for a full refund. It is such a shame because i liked my car. My only advice to anyone who deals with this company is to stay away. The quality of cars he is selling is ruining his reputation as a salesman. Excess play 12. NSF Lower Front Control Arm. Excess play 13. Handbrake Virtually Inoperable 14. Oil Filler Cap Not Sealing. 15. Water leak. 16. Possible Inoperable Cooling Fan. 17. Possible Head Gasket Failure. Sniff Test Completed. 18. Possible Cracked Head. 19. Possible Cracked Cylinder Jacket. I hope that other people that have been in my situation have been able to get it resolved because right now I've got a 3k car that's worth 250.00 in scrap.
