We met the vicar who allowed us to have another around this church, both inside and out. We were not allowed to go up tge spiral staircase to the roof for safety reasons, but did aim our camera upwards to take a photo. The church windows sho Jesus Christ without a beard, this is very rare indeed, and there is only around 5 in the UK. The old church organ had been removed, but there were still some magnificent features in place. There was an inscribed block of stone from our ancient past and the church was in the process of being repointed outside and some works indoors. The views from outside the church are breathtaking and would have been better if the sun had been out at that time.
